GERBER TECHNOLOGY APPOINTS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF INDUSTRIAL MARKETS AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Connecticut, USA – Gerber Technology has appointed Marco Azzaretti to the position of executive director, industrial markets and business development. In this role, Azzaretti will be responsible for accelerating Gerber’s business growth in industrial market segments including furniture, transportation interiors, composites and industrial fabrics. He will report directly to John Hancock, president of Gerber Technology.
“A sizeable opportunity exists globally for our products and services in various industrial segments, supplementing the traditional strength of Gerber’s presence in the apparel and retail space” explained Hancock. “Marco’s significant experience working with global manufacturing and technology companies places him in an ideal position to understand customer needs and the dynamics of these markets. His new role will help drive further enhancements to our business capabilities and opportunity to serve customers in these market segments.”
Azzaretti joined Gerber Technology in 2001 and has held various business planning positions, most recently as director, new business development. Prior to joining Gerber he worked for FMC Technologies and Deloitte Consulting in the United States and Europe. Azzaretti holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Xavier University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University.
