The Taurus leather cutting system scans leather hides, recognizes flaws, nests for material optimization and cuts accurately at high speed. It is available in single- or dual-station configurations.

Optional patented Pivex® cutting technology enables the knife to change direction in the material without lifting even at high rates of speed to cut the most challenging materials ultra fast.

Taurus leather cutters are equipped with the industry's most powerful automatic nesting software. The system enables operators to identify flaw grades for optimal hide usage and cuts with zero buffer between parts – a critical advantage over the use of dies. Gerber’s Taurus leather cutting system is available in two table configurations. The Taurus XM single-station system offers the smallest footprint for flexible facility planning. The Taurus XD dual-station system offers maximum production output with the highest return on investment.
