Automated cutter that cuts up to 7.2 cm (2.8 in) of all types of technical textiles.

The GERBERcutter® GT5250 and GT7250 power through technical textiles with unmatched productivity and precision – whether you're manufacturing tents, awnings, protective gear, medical devices or active wear.

The cutters' speed and ability to cut particularly thick spreads with exceptional quality from the top to the bottom ply virtually eliminate material waste and minimize time-consuming and costly re-cutting.

The system is designed with up to six separate vacuum zones to hold material firmly in place during cutting for optimum cut part quality. Sophisticated sensing techniques control cutting speed and enable users to nest parts more tightly to achieve maximum material utilization. The GT Series of cutters is available in widths of 2.0 and 2.4 meters (79 and 95 inches). Standard table length is 442 cm (174 in) but a long table (633 cm. / 249 in) is also available for certain applications. The cutter supports multiple options including single or dual drills, a barcode reader and a bristle cleaning system. The cutter information database automatically tracks and collects cut part throughput data so managers have visibility into cutting room productivity.
