Tight tolerances were achieved for the Boeing EMARSS (Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance and Surveillance System) aircraft, designed to gather intelligence for the U. S. Army, by integrating our GERBERcutter® computer-controlled cutting system and a Virtek® LaserEdge® laser templating system. With 26 parts each for five aircraft, precision and repeatability of the manufacturing process was key to success.
